Well-being expert, writer, and workshop leader Gale Lyman RN, HNB-BC, BSN, is passionate about inspiring people to take care of themselves.
With more than 30 years of nursing experience, she has a deep sense of caring and wisdom. Gale is an engaging guest speaker and a published health writer with expertise in integrated holism, senior wellness, health behavior change, and caring for caregivers. Residing in Amesbury, MA, Gale lives with two Labrador retrievers and the two most wonderful men in the world: her husband and her dad.

Holistic relaxation and enhanced well-being is the focus of Gale’s client services. With a variety of integrative modalities to draw upon, she helps people to incorporate evidence-based self-care with healthcare. She is an experienced family caregiver and one of the youngest baby boomers.
Published Author, Exceptional Speaker
Gale authored student handbooks for Reiki Levels One and Two, and writes both holistic healthcare articles and wellness tips. Her book, “A Reflective Journal for Busy People: 100 Affirmations of Health, Happiness, Prosperity and Wisdom,” was published in 2009. Traveling extensively, she has led health and wellness seminars in 20 states and in Europe. Gale also serves as a faculty advisor for holistic nursing students at The BirchTree Center for Healthcare Transformation
Committed to Life Long Learning
Originally educated at Saint Anselm College, Gale is committed to lifelong learning. She is a registered nurse, board certified in holistic nursing, holds a certificate in Integrative Nursing, and has numerous continuing education credits in guided imagery, relaxation, aromatherapy, music, reflexology, health behavior change, energy work, and pain management.
Nursing and Management Experience
Gale’s prior nursing experience includes community care, acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation care, employee health, and insurance services. She was certified as a case manager, as a disability management specialist, and as a rehabilitation nurse. A nurse since 1982, a nurse educator since 1987, eight years’ experience as an executive national program director for employee health, and a business owner since 2000, Gale has collected a broad scope of knowledge and wisdom.
